Alyssa Edwards 'Dancing Queen'

Alyssa Edwards (aka Justin Dwayne Lee Johnson) is most known for season 5 of RuPauls Drag Race season 5 in which she came 5th and RuPauls Drag Race All Stars 2 in which she came 4th. Alyssa also has a YouTube series by WOW presents called 'Alyssa's secret' where she shares secrets about her life as Justin and as Alyssa and occasionally has guests in. Alyssa is a pageant and dancing queen who's also had a small acting role in Bianca Del Rio's film 'Hurricane Bianca' alongside her drag daughter Shangela.

Alyssa has danced alongside Miley Cyrus at the Video Music Awards with many other queens including Shangela, Laganja, Violet, and many more. Alyssa also done a solo performance at the 12 days of crowing for RuPaul's Drag Race season 7 as well has helping out the season 10 queens with choreography.

As Justin Johnson, he owns his own dance studio in Mesquite, Texas called Beyond Belief which is full of amazing dancers. Beyond Belief have appeared on America's Got Talent and just like their teacher, they're a very talented, hard working and competitive bunch of dancers. Beyond Belief have appeared on a 15 minute long episode of Alyssa's Secret which showcased Justin's life as a dancer. Justin's always wanted Beyond Belief to appear on people's TV screens and now that dream is coming to life.



Coming October 5th is 'Dancing Queen'. A documentary about Justin's life as both Alyssa Edwards and Justin Johnson. The show will feature his life as Alyssa Edwards, being on the road, showing people how she can lipsync and dance, and how RuPauls Drag Race has really improved Alyssa's life. most of the show will show Justin's side as the dance teacher for his own dance business, Beyond Belief, where he teaches different ages and the show will show the amazing talents of his amazing students, the dance mum's and dad's and life as Justin and Alyssa.

This is defiantly a show to look out for and to watch when it starts. You won't regret it and we are all so proud of how far he has came since being in season 5 and all stars 2.

A fan says "She is endearing! I'm excited to see how he is as a teacher, we all know and love Alyssa but we haven't *met* Justin yet."

Another fan said "when I seen her live, she said she has someone in her life now but said she won't say anything else because we will see it in the documentary."

Alyssa's fans describe her as inspirational, fierce, talented, genuine, friendly, caring, legendary, astonishing, beast, dynamic, down to earth and drop dead gorgeous.

I was definitely inspired by the greats such as Coco Peru and Divine, the drag queens that came long before drag race, obviously RuPaul is a huge inspiration to me. I grew up with movies such as " But I'm Not a Cheerleader" , movies where he had small cameo roles, but he had such a big presence as a drag artist.
