Drag It Up

                          Alyssa Edwards Alyssa Edwards (aka Justin Dwayne Lee Johnson) is most known for season 5 of RuPauls Drag Race season 5 in which she came 5th and RuPauls Drag Race All Stars 2 in which she came 4th. Alyssa also has a YouTube series by WOW presents called 'Alyssa's secret' where she shares secrets about her life as Justin and as Alyssa and occasionally has guests in. Alyssa is a pageant and dancing queen who's also had a small acting role in Bianca Del Rio's film 'Hurricane Bianca' alongside her drag daughter Shangela.               Haus of Edwards at the VMA Alyssa has danced alongside Miley Cyrus at the Video Music Awards with many other queens including Shangela, Laganja, Violet, and many more. Alyssa also done a solo performance at the 12 days of crowing for RuPaul's Drag Race season 7 as well has helping out the season 10 queens with choreography.       Justin with Michelle Visage and RuPaul As Justin Johnson,

1. How did you find out about drag? I found out about drag through the British Pantomime scene and was inspired to do research from there at arounds the age of 7 or 8. 2. What type of drag queen would you say you are? The type of queen I'd say is odd. I don't really have a box I fit into, I kinda bounce around. 3. Who was the first drag performer you seen live? The first performer I saw live that I can remember vividly was Tess Tickle and The Dragettes. 4. Did anything hold you back at first from doing drag? At first a lot held me back. My vision problems, lack of money and confidence, no suitable venues, being underage, having major anxiety and I'm only now just working through these problems. 5. Do you think RuPaul's Drag Race is inspiring a lot of people from different ages to start doing drag? Oh of course, we have a new range of queens thanks to drag race, myself included. 6. Alaska and Jeremy recently worked together making this amazing sounding eight track album, Amethyst Journey. It's different from Alaska's other music but that's a good thing as you can really hear her true singing voice in this album compared to other songs, and it sounds amazing, accompanied with Jeremy on piano and backing vocals. They both have a lot of talent. One of the most popular songs on this album that there's a music video to is ' Aliens '. It has a great music video to the song and the lyrics are very catchy, like any Alaska song. The song also has some great backing vocals from Jeremy and they both done amazing in the music video. A personal favourite track of mine is the strong and emotional song, ' So Far Gone' . You can hear the emotion and passion put into it. It's definetly a song I'd love to hear being performed live. It's one of the songs in the album that I've listened to the most. With the sound of Jeremy
